A beautiful pendant with a moldavite and Sikhote Alin meteorite with Herkimer Diamond. The delicate setting is made of a 925 sterling silver, oxidized and polished.
Moldavite is a fascinating stone a member of the Tektites, with an amorphous crystal system. It is a mixture of aluminum oxide, silicon dioxide, and other metal oxides. Its formation resulted from a collision between a large meteorite in the Czech Republic, which is thought to have occurred 14.8 million years ago. Moldavite is a powerful stone of transformation. It also offers protection and cleansing and is recommended for sensitive people who find it difficult to cope with the chaos in our modern world.
Sikhote-Alin meteorite fell onto the Earth in 1947 in the mountains Sikhote-Alin. It is a coarsest octahedrite. Contains: iron, nickel, cobalt, phosphorus.
The Herkimer diamond is a double-pointed Quartz Crystal. It is one of the rarest varieties of rock crystals (quartz) and also the purest, occurring only in the county of Herkimer, New York. The crystals are in the form they were extracted; they have not been cut. They also have small petroleum inclusions that are fluorescent in UV light.
